What a fun tiki bar in the neighborhood of Carroll Gardens! We came on a weeknight, so it was pretty quiet; but this place gets poppin' on a Friday/Saturday night. If the backyard is open, make sure you hang out there on a nice day or night. The atmosphere is vibey with string lights and some tiki decor. There are picnic benches for big groups or tabletops for couples. They also offered mosquito spray and sunscreen for people, which was amazing! The best part is the affordable drinks here. The numerous tropical cocktails are only $8-12, which is one of the best deals you can find in NY. I had the Spicy Cucarita ($8) and Mama's Peach Tea ($10). The spicy cucarita had a nice kick of spice that I enjoyed while the peach tea was so tasty that you really don't even realize there's even alcohol. All of the drinks were yummy and makes for a fun spot to hang out.

If you're going for chill vibes to grab a drink and meet with friends. I'd see this being the meet up spot. Service is quick and helpful, drinks are strong and get the job done. A 20s 30s age group vibe...fun cocktails and a few games to be interactive with...

Great spot! Cheap drinks, ample seating, good music, only hot pockets foodwise (which were not great) but you can bring food in! If you're into tiki drinks or just want a place to grab a cheap beer this is a great option

Great spot for a casual night at the bar. A friend booked the back for his birthday with about 30 of his friends and it was a good space. You also have the option of stepping outside of the back area into the main area and there were comfy chairs and sofas around. I appreciate that they had a water dispenser at the end of the bar (near the restrooms) for us to self serve water. I also saw a bunch of board games stacked to the side. So this is a perfect spot for a casual night out with friends that feel like you're at home but you're not really at home. I'd highly recommend this spot. One thing to note - my partner left his credit card here and came back the next day to pick it up but they auto closed it out with 20% tip. It wasn't the biggest deal but it also felt weird that someone closed it out for you and auto added 20%.

So there we were, stuck in the most insane garbage traffic because ALL roads going the way we needed to go were blocked off for the NYC marathon. NINETY MINUTES to go 3 miles and all I had to play on the stereo was Ariana Grande. We needed a drink, so we parked in the first spot we could find and walked into Zombie Hut. First order of business was to take a ridiculous piss, which went well. Second task was to get a Spicy Cucarita Marg and a Skinny Colada. Both were delicious. I'd like to shout out to the bartender who listened as I whined about our hideous ordeal, she was very nice and got us our dranks ASAP. Great experience overall, will come again. Also they have hot pockets, hell MF yea
